The GP4-MS is Brembo's latest CNC billet monobloc caliper featuring the latest technology derived from MotoGp experience and is now finally available to the public.
It's likely that no one has ever been so daring: a MotoGP brake caliper available for road bikes!
The GP4-MS caliper is the latest addition to the Brembo range - the world leader in the design, development and production of braking systems - and is destined to become the new high performance benchmark for road bikes.
Designed for track enthusiasts and those who seek something truly innovative from the calipers fitted to their bikes, the Brembo GP4-MS is inspired by the monobloc caliper developed for MotoGP - now available to the general public. Equipped with four 30 mm diameter pistons, the Brembo GP4-MS caliper redefines the rules for road calipers.
Its performance comes close to that of the versions used in the most important motorbike competitions in the world, thanks to the combination of all the distinctive features of Brembo calipers used in the MotoGP sector - such as monobloc technology, machining from solid, nickel surface finishing and design with topological optimization.
Spacers may be required for certain model bikes which we can also supply.
Brembo thermo-labels that read caliper temperature are also supplied with this kit as used in professional racing worldwide.

TECHNICAL FEATURES
Machined from solid:
Just like Brembo calipers used in MotoGP and Superbike World Championships, the innovative GP4-MS caliper - for bikes with 100mm centres - is manufactured from aluminium machined from a solid block.
Compared to braking components manufactured by casting, machining from solid allows the use of materials with better mechanical characteristics, greater resistance to high temperatures and, consequently, improvements to the performance of the entire braking system.
Monobloc:
Unlike models in the previous GP4 range, the Brembo GP4-MS combines machining from solid with monobloc technology, i.e. the use of a single block of aluminium – offering a new design choice for motorcycle calipers in road applications.
The GP4-MS caliper shares the styling of Brembo Racing calipers of the future, with the aim of optimising rigidity and ensuring low weight.
Ventilation Fins:
Particular attention has been paid to the introduction of ventilation fins on the outer body which improves the braking system’s thermal exchange, contributing to cooling it.
This is achieved by air circulation as a result of vehicle movement, but more importantly by rotational-induced air movement of the brake discs and wheel.
No less important is their strong aesthetic impact that makes the design of the caliper sharper and bolder.
Topological optimisation:
This process was achieved by perfecting the use of topological optimisers, software derived from 40 years of Brembo victories in the premier World Championship class. This computer program has made it possible to optimise the shape of the caliper body.
The entire process ensures exceptional rigidity, unprecedented lightness and less deformation at high temperatures.
Nickel finishing:
In common with its competition calipers, the Brembo GP4-MS also has nickel surface finishing. In addition to attractive styling, this process has made it possible to comply with strict manufacturing tolerances, to the benefit of performance and operating precision.
By fitting a double seal, one inside the piston and one acting as a dust cover, the Brembo caliper ensures maximum on-road freedom without the need for the regular checks characteristic of racing calipers.

The Brembo GP4-MS caliper kit also includes high performance sintered pads - the top choice for mixed road/track use - plus all the small parts needed for assembly and related instructions.
The kit also includes the eye-catching heat-sensitive adhesive stickers used in the MotoGP world to assess the operating temperature reached by the calipers after each session.
The Brembo GP4-MS caliper is compatible with the Brembo Racing Z04 pads used in the World Superbike, Supersport and Moto2 Championships.
